Hawk Chalk is a literacy class for adults in training for employment. St. Joseph's University student volunteers come every week to teach literacy, math, and daily living skills such as telling time and counting money.

Community Connections
Offers the opportunity for people to get to know the community around them by going to places of interests like museums, nature centers, and gardens. This brings new experiences into a person's life developing confidence, enhancing social skills and a general sense of happiness.
