The Arc of PA helds its annual SAGA Day in Harrisburg with addresses by gubernatorial candidates Tom Corbett and Joe Hoeffel. OLMSTEAD LAWSUIT FILED: On June 22nd on the 10 year anniversary of Olmstead DRN filed a lawsuit Benjamin v. Dep’t of Public Welfare arguing that the state has failed to enable people in institution who can live in the community to do so. The Arc of PA fully supports this effort. Donna Bouclier and Bruce Hulick joined two other parents, Sheila Stasko from the Waiting List Campaign and Maureen Jordan from the Arc of PA for what promises to be an active and productive group. |
