Laura Princiotta

Laura is a Cum Laude graduate of The University of Hartford with a BA in Secondary Education, and has a Masters Degree in Non-Profit Management from Rosemont College.

Over 18 years, Laura has built a distinguished record of progressive achievement and advancement at PDDC, working her way up to the senior management level from an entry-level direct care position.  She created the highly-regarded Employment Partners Program that provides job training and job search services for people who have barriers to employment.  She currently oversees agency operations, ensuring that a high level of quality in all aspects of service provision is maintained.

Laura has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rosemont College, teaching psychology and gender studies.  She danced professionally with the WAVES Dance Company, and built and ran her own Dance Studio on Walnut Street in Philadelphia.  She received a citation from then Mayor W. Wilson Goode for her on-going contribution to the Philadelphia arts community.  She also worked at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, providing support to patients in the Department of Gynecologic-Oncology.

Laura is married, has a son who is a senior policy analyst for the National Governor’s Association in Washington, DC, and resides in Merion Station, Pennsylvania.
