Featured Speaker

Marie C. Lewis, R.M., Ph.D.

Our featured speaker is the Executive Director of the National Center for Autism Resources and Education, nCARE and on the Faculty of the National Special Education Advocacy Institute, NSEAI,  which offers national Board Certification as an Educational Advocate - BCEA.

Dr. Lewis is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of Autism, Transitional Planning, Advocacy, and Inclusion.  She lectures nationally for disability groups, school districts, parent support groups and continuing medical, education and legal continuing education programs.
She has served as a consultant to special educational law programs in multiple states and is on the advisory board or board of national and regional disability related organizations and institutions.

Dr. Lewis has personally journeyed the special education maze with a son who has autism and a medically challenged daughter.
