The Arc/PDDC announces new Executive Director

The Arc of Philadelphia/PDDC is very pleased to announce the selection of J. Bruce Hulick as our new Executive Director.

Bruce comes to us after a long and distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps, from which he retired as a full Colonel in 2005.  His last Marine Corps assignment was as commanding officer of Villanova University and University of Pennsylvania ROTC units.  While at Villanova and The University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Hulick served on the faculty, teaching leadership, ethics, and history.

Bruce also has extensive private sector experience— serving in senior management roles as well as a consultant specializing in international project management.

Bruce is the father of four children, including a son with developmental disabilities.

The entire Arc/PDDC community welcomes Mr. Hulick to our organization—and looks forward to working closely with him as we continue our mission of supporting independence and self-determination for people with disabilities.
